I love picnics and lake picnics are the best.

Last weekend, Leo & I made the most of the last days of summer and had a mini picnic at my favourite place on Lake Maggiore.

It’s already raining today so I’m so glad we went!

We found a perfect quiet place just besides the lake.

I took a very simple, lazy day picnic basket: flatbread, prosciutto, salame, egg & avocado salad and peaches.

Oh, and muffins too! 🙂

Just the right way to say goodbye to summer holidays and get ready to go back to work. We ate, relaxed and sunbathed all afternoon, savouring the warm sunshine.
