Old furnaces in Caldè, Italy

Summer is almost here!

This year’s goal is to get a little colour before the holidays, so I’m spending every afternoon I can on the lake’s little beaches.

The water is freezing but amazingly clear.

This time we ended up in the small village of Caldè. If you happen to be nearby, I absolutely suggest a visit to the park of the old furnaces.

Once you get to the village, leave the car and cross the small bridge over the lake.

Once in the park you’ll feel as if in another world.

Hidden under the leaves are the ruins of the buildings used to process white lime up until the 60s. Abandoned, they have been covered with drawings and graffiti.

White cotton dungarees – Saldals (similar) – ZARA T-Shirt – Promod bag

It really is worth seeing.
