Last Sunday my boyfriend and I went for an afternoon walk in the woods.

We set off climbing quite a lot of steps:

that lead us right into the trees.

As winter is playing hide & seek this year, we had to settle for some autumn-ish fun.

That wasn’t too bad at all.

Setting off again we noticed someone was telling us that Spring is not long to come.

In a couple of hours the track takes you right at the top of the hill, where the ruins of the small Fort of Orino look down on the lakes and valleys all around Varese. Even in a hazy day the view is breathtaking.
